Transworld Show Huge Success

The 2008 Haunted House show in Vegas was a HUGE success for vendors and buyers alike. Tons of new and exciting products went on display for haunted house owners to purchase. Most vendors reported record sales, even though foot traffic seemed to be lower than in past years. Since the show moved to Chicago, foot traffic was expected to be lower, considering attraction owners would bring less staff to the show.

Scarefactory seemed to have the most new equipment, but many new companies brought new and exciting costumes to the show including, Spookywood FX, Gore Galore, and a new company FrightDome. Hauntworld has provided a link to over 150 photos of the show, including photos of the haunt tour, show floor, and the haunted auction. Hauntworld launched a new haunt video, which sold nearly 200 copies, and debuted a new magazine. The magazine was handed out at the show and to over 700 people who attended the Viva Haunt Vegas haunted house tour hosted by Randy Grigg. The tour seemed to have been a huge success, with attendance well over 800 guests. Although some people complained about long lines for food, and the haunts, plus some miscommunication here and there, overall the tour was pulled off with great success.

As for this report its not clear where next year show will be held. Keep checking back at www.HauntWorld.com for more information.
